NIKO PIROSMANI
Niko Pirosmanashvili was born on May 5, 1862 in the village of Mirzaani, province of Kajeti, Georgia, the son of a family of farmers, owners of a small vineyard. Soon found herself orphaned and was put under the care of her two older sisters. Around 1870 he moved to Tbilisi, and in 1872 went to work as a servant of affluent families. He learned to write Russian and Georgian. In 1876 he returned to Mirzaani and was employed as a shepherd. Self-taught, one of his specialties was the direct painting on black rubber. In 1882 he opened a workshop in Tbilisi which did not prosper. In 1890 he worked as a train driver, and in 1895 was used to creating posters. In 1893 he co-founded a farm in Tbilisi that abandoned in 1901. Throughout his life, which always spent in poverty, it is employed in common works ranging from painting houses to whitewash the facades. While his paintings achieved a local popularity its relationship with professional artists was difficult. Earn a living always was a most important task for him than abstract aesthetics. In April 1918 he died of malnutrition and liver failure. He was buried in the cemetery child, though the exact location is unknown since it was not registered.
ANTONIO RAFAEL PINTO BANDEIRA
(9 March, 1863-Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, August 28, 1896) was a Brazilian painter and Professor at the second half of the 19th century. A descendant of slaves, Antonio Rafael Pinto Bandeira enrolled at the Imperial Academy of fine arts at the age of sixteen years. From 1879 to 1884, was a disciple of Zeferino da Costa. In 1887, Bandeira de Pinto moved to Salvador, where he remained for several years. In the capital of Bahia, was Professor of drawing and the landscape of the school of Arts and crafts. In 1890, he returned to his hometown, where he tries, in vain, he found a "School of fine arts". It is considered one of the large landscape Brazilian and marinhistas of the 19th century.

Niko Pirosmanashvili nació el 5 de mayo de 1862 en el poblado de Mirzaani, provincia de

Georgia, hijo de una familia de campesinos, propietarios de un pequeño viñedo. Pronto se encontró huérfano y fue puesto bajo el cuidado de sus dos hermanas mayores. Hacia 1870 se mudó a
Tiflis, y en 1872 entró a trabajar como sirviente de familias opulentas. Aprendió a escribir
ruso y
georgiano. En 1876 regresó a Mirzaani y se empleó como pastor. Autodidacta, una de sus especialidades fue la pintura directa sobre hule negro. En 1882 abrió un taller en Tbilisi el cual no prosperó. En 1890 trabajó como conductor de trenes, y en 1895 se empleó creando carteles. En 1893 cofundó una granja en Tbilisi que abandonó en 1901. A lo largo de su vida, la cual pasó siempre en la pobreza, se empleó en trabajos comunes que iban desde pintar casas hasta encalar fachadas. A pesar de que sus pinturas lograron una popularidad local su relación con artistas profesionales fue difícil. Ganarse la vida siempre fue una tarea más importante para él que la estética abstracta. En abril de 1918 murió de
desnutrición e
insuficiencia hepática. Fue enterrado en el cementerio Nino, aunque el lugar exacto se desconoce puesto que no fue registrado.
ANTONIO RAFAEL PINTO BANDEIRA
(9 de marzo, 1863-Niterói, Río de Janeiro, 28 de agosto de 1896) fue un pintor brasileño y profesor de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Un descendiente de esclavos, Antonio Rafael Pinto Bandeira se matriculó en la Academia Imperial de Bellas Artes a la edad de dieciséis años. Entre 1879 y 1884, fue discípulo de Zeferino da Costa. En 1887, Bandeira de Pinto se trasladó a Salvador, donde permaneció por varios años. En la capital de Bahia, fue profesor de dibujo y el paisaje de la escuela de Artes y oficios. En 1890, regresa a su ciudad natal, donde intenta, en vano, encontró una "escuela de Bellas Artes". Es considerado uno de los grandes paisajistas brasileña y marinhistas del siglo XIX.
